The youth will meet after church at the Mauldin house from 12:30 to 3pm. We will eat pizza, swim, play billiards and games, ect.
How to Do School Better
Sept 24th Youth Room after CKY until 2:30pm
One of our youth volunteers will lead a lesson on how get the most from your time in school from study tips to social activity to how to be a positive witness for Christ in your school. Then group activity.
Conflict 101
Oct 1st Youth Room after CKY until 2:30pm
We will look at sources of conflict in our lives and discuss ways we can avoid or decrease it. Plan to play some messy or wet games outside so bring active clothes (no white).
Conflict 201
Oct 8th Youth Room after CKY until 2:30pm
Try our best not all conflict can be avoided. This lesson will be dealing with conflict and resolution as a Christian. Our activity will be learning a few basic non-aggressive self defense techniques.
Nickle-mania
Oct 15th After CKY until 3pm
We will eat with CKY and then we will load up to go to Nickle-Mainia. The cost is $2 plus the nickles to play games with (we will have nickles to trade for cash).
Money
Oct 22nd Youth Room After CKY until 2:30pm
We will look at how area that money and faith intersect. After the lesson we will play group games in the Covenant Center.
Austin Street Shelter
Oct 28-29th
More details to come. We may meet up on Saturday to make sandwiches and prepare for Sunday. Sunday we will meet at 4am to go to Austin Street and serve the people staying there. There will be NO UMY that day.
